The global pulp and paper sector is becoming increasingly strict regarding chip quality, heavily penalizing suppliers for oversize chips and excessive bark content. At the heart of producing premium, uniform export chips is the relationship between the chipper disc and the anvil system. We discuss why upgrading to adjustable, precision-machined anvil systems is the most cost-effective way for stationary chipping installations to guarantee their chip classification and protect their export margins.
