Terry Parsons

Managing Director

Terry began his working life as a Royal Australian Navy Apprentice, specialising in Marine Engineering, serving on both Guided Missile Destroyers and Submarines. On leaving the Navy, so began his long association with the Timber Industry. Working for Integrated Engineering, involved in the manufacture, installation, service and commissioning of Timber Milling Equipment. From there working with Pirtek Hydraulics, Bearing Service, Vee Belt and Power Transmission, SystiMatic Sawmill Supplies and finally operating his own businesses Key Knife South Pacific Pty Ltd and Braford Industries Pty Ltd. Terry too has worked throughout the South Pacific during this time.

Donna Voglsinger

Company Accountant

Donna is our Company Accountant holds a Degree in Accounting and Masters in Forensic Accounting. Donna commenced her accounting career 23 years ago as a part-time Payroll Clerk for a giftware manufacturer on the Gold Coast, subsequently progressing to Assistant Accountant and Financial Controller. Donna has also worked as the Commercial Accountant for a Chartered Accounting firm, and has gained experience in the freight, market research and timber industries. Looking after our finance role on a part-time basis, Donna is also a mother of 2 great children, a highly respected family member and has family business interests in the Coffs Harbour area.

Our Wood Chipping Specialist - Brian has been involved in the manufacture, installation, service and commissioning of Timber Milling Equipment most of his working life. Working throughout the South Pacific, Papua New Guinea, Malaysia and Thailand. Equipment names that he has been associated with include Isles Forge Engineering, Fulghum Industries, CAE and Nicholson Manufacturing.

Administration

In all businesses there are Keys, that make things happen. In our case, it is Amanda. She too being a key family member, a mum to 4 children, Amanda is responsible for our day to Administration functions and naturally keeping us all in line in the office. Amanda too has had an interesting career, a standout is having worked for Fairfax Newspapers for some 9 years, looking after administration and providing PA support for 9 other managers.

Kevin Hamilton

Kevin comes from a farming and sawmilling background on the Corormandel Peninsula, New Zealand. He now resides in Southland NZ. After serving in the NZ Army Kevin returned to Farming and worked as a Livestock Representative and Auctioneer for Dalgety NZ Ltd.
With the downturn in Farming in 1983 Kevin went to work for Tanner Sawmills Tairua. He worked in the Sawmill, Retail yard and Bush gang before completing an Adult Apprenticeship in Sawdoctoring.

In 1987 Kevin was NZ Sawdoctors Association Apprentice of the year. Kevin then went on to further his experience at Westport Sawmilling, CHH Kopu and Shands Road Sawmill Christchurch. Whilst at SRS as Sawmill Engineer/ Head Sawdoctor he helped modernise and rebuild the original Sawmill. When a new sawmill was being planned he travelled to Australia, Europe and Scandinavia to assess Sawmills and other equipment, then helped build and commission the new sawmill at Rolleston. As part of that travel Kevin visited the Iseli and Co AG at Schötz Switzerland, where he assisted in the development of the RZ1 Leveller/ Tensioner. Kevin then went to work for Thodes, who were then granted the Iseli Agency and travelled back to Iseli to receive further Factory training.

Kevin is a past Vice President and committee member of NZSEA and an Assessor in Sawdoctoring. Kevin has held several Head Sawdoctor and Contracted/ Consulting positions in both Pine and Native sawmills within NZ.
With 35 years experience he joins Keymatic team and looks forward to sharing his knowledge and in assisting wherever possible.
